Sara & Shamon Shamonki

This site was created to support our neighbors – families, business owners, and friends who were affected by the Palisades fire. Behind it is someone who’s lived here nearly his whole life: Shamon Shamonki.

Shamon and his wife, Sara, raised their three boys in Pacific Palisades, and like many in the community, are now rebuilding their home after the fires. Their lives once revolved around school events, baseball games, hikes in the canyons, days on the beach and the local traditions that made this place feel like home. When the fire hit, it didn’t just affect people they know—it affected their entire community.
If you’re not already familiar with Shamon, he’s quietly been a trusted advisor in this community for over 20 years. Specializing in residential real estate with Sotheby’s International Realty, his name often comes up when someone says, “I’ve got the guy you should talk to.” That’s how it’s always been – no billboards, no flash. Just trust.

Before real estate, he spent his early years in politics and finance, and his roots in service run deep. His parents, founders of the Shamonki Fertility Clinic in Santa Monica, showed him early on what it means to be of service to others. His hope is to carry that forward.

The Faces of the Palisades is meant to be a place where we can all stay connected – to see when and where local businesses are back up and serving the community, learn how others are rebuilding, and find ways to show support along the way. We’re here to keep you informed, connected, and a part of the Palisades revival as we all move forward together.
